We’re thrilled to announce that Contiflow reusable incontinence underwear has been selected for a pioneering pilot trial at Pacific Coast Village in Pāpāmoa! This trial aims to significantly reduce waste generated by incontinence products, which account for a staggering 34% of the facility’s landfill waste.
The trial, supported by Tauranga City Council’s Resource Wise Community Fund, involves residents testing Contiflow’s organic bamboo, reusable underwear designed for comfort and ease of use. Initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing high satisfaction after the first month.
This innovative project not only has the potential to make a huge impact on waste reduction in Tauranga but also nationwide. We’re proud to be part of this initiative, working towards a more sustainable future while prioritising the dignity and well-being of individuals with incontinence needs.
The success of this trial could pave the way for broader adoption in the aged care sector, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of this movement. Stay tuned for updates on this groundbreaking project!
